Half term is here again!
February half term in Cardiff (Monday 20 February – Friday 24 February 2017) has plenty to offer the kids. There need never be a dull moment in this city!
Keep your boisterous brood entertained with adrenaline-boosting activities at Cardiff International White Water (CIWW). Located a stone’s throw away from the city centre with free on-site parking, the facility offers exhilarating sessions for over 5s of all abilities.
All the family fun you need
Family Rafting is the perfect way to dip your toes into the thrills and spills of the white water course. The level and speed of the water are lowered, enabling children as young as 6 to take part. With up to 6 people in a raft, riding the rapids is guaranteed to inject some fun into your family time.
Because it’s still a bit chilly for the beach
Ideal for complete beginners, as well as board sport enthusiasts, bodyboarding is available all year round at CIWW, even when the weather outside is off-putting. The Indoor Wave machine features a double lane design, so that family and friends can put their newfound skills to the test together. There’s also plenty of seating for those who want to gather round and watch the action.
Stay high, and dry!
If you’re not a fan of water, you can get your kicks from the Air Trail high rope, steel and timber course, which towers above the white water. Both children and adults love tackling the challenge of the Burma Bridge, Monkey Swing, Barrel Crawl and Zip Wire obstacles.
Sessions cost from £10 to £35 per person; age and height restrictions apply. To book, call 029 2082 9970.
