Park & Play sessions are for experienced paddlers who have their own equipment and want to enjoy all the course has to offer! Warm up on the flat water, relax on the conveyor, and then experience the ‘on demand’ white water! What could be simpler? We offer a range of features to suit both the intermediate to advanced boater… all you need is your own equipment and an ID card. We advise that you check our advertised pump times before making your journey to CIWW. Pump times are subject to change on the day of the session. Students must show a valid, current NUS Extra card to obtain Park & Play discount.
Midweek sessions - adults* £10pp; children (15 years and under) & students with a valid NUS Extra card* £5pp
Saturday and Sunday - adults* £12.50pp; children (15 years and under) & students with a valid NUS Extra card* £5pp
Monday to Sunday - adults and children £6pp
*Adults - aged 16yrs+
All paddlers need to have a Cardiff International White Water ID card to use our Park & Play facility. The cards cost £5 and are available to buy at reception.
All ID cards last for 12 months, so you only have to fill out 1 copy of the below:

The card is also used as a deposit against the bibs that we issue for the sessions. Your card will be kept at reception while you paddle, and if the bib is not returned you'll be charged for another card. We are excited to announce that we are accepting WW SUPs onto the course. There are of course some simple rules to follow.
Leash must be coiled, quick release and separate to buoyancy aid, No ankle leash’s
Boards must be under 11ft
Centre fin no longer than thruster fins, No fins over 5 inch
Leash to be released if in need of a rescue throw line
4 and 6 cumecs last straight only (steps downstream)
8 cumec Bottom jet only
