Q
What is the minimum height/age?
A

Activities are suitable for age 6+. For Indoor Wave, there’s a minimum height of 107cm. Air Trail has a minimum height of 132cm (107cm+ if accompanied by an adult) and maximum weight of 18 stone. The Climbing Wall has a minimum height of 107cm.

Q
What do I need to bring/wear?
A

We’ll provide you with all the equipment you need to take part in your activity including:

-        Wetsuits

-        Wetsuit boots

-        Buoyancy aid

-        Helmet

You’ll need to bring:

-       Swimwear to wear underneath the wetsuit (in colder weather you may wish to bring an additional non-cotton layer to wear underneath the wetsuit e.g. a thin fleece or a rash vest).

-       Towel

-       A £1 coin for the locker

We have changing rooms, showers and lockers onsite (£1 coin required). To ensure a prompt start to your activity session, please arrive 15 minutes before your start time to book in at reception and complete the necessary paperwork.

Q
How far are you from Cardiff City Centre?
A

We’re located in the International Sports Village, which is only a 10 minute drive from the city centre.

Q
Do you cancel when the weather is bad?
A

The activities go ahead come rain or shine. We would cancel some activities in severe weather conditions, for example if there was heavy snow or ice, or gale force winds.

Q
Do I have to book in advance?
A

Yes, for all activities, apart from Bike Hire – but please call us to check availability before you set off for the centre.

Q
Do I have to be a strong swimmer?
A

No, you’ll wear a buoyancy aid (just in case you fall into the water). You will get splashed quite a lot though (which adds to the fun!)
