Catch the Barry or Bridgend trains from Cardiff Central and alight at Cogan Train Station. Then walk across Pont y Werin bridge to Cardiff International Sports Village.

Activities are suitable for age 6+. For Indoor Wave, there’s a minimum height of 107cm. Air Trail has a minimum height of 132cm (107cm+ if accompanied by an adult) and maximum weight of 18 stone. The Climbing Wall has a minimum height of 107cm.
We’ll provide you with all the equipment you need to take part in your activity including:
- Wetsuits
- Wetsuit boots
- Buoyancy aid
- Helmet
You’ll need to bring:
- Swimwear to wear underneath the wetsuit (in colder weather you may wish to bring an additional non-cotton layer to wear underneath the wetsuit e.g. a thin fleece or a rash vest).
- Towel
- A £1 coin for the locker
We have changing rooms, showers and lockers onsite (£1 coin required). To ensure a prompt start to your activity session, please arrive 15 minutes before your start time to book in at reception and complete the necessary paperwork.
We’re located in the International Sports Village, which is only a 10 minute drive from the city centre.
The activities go ahead come rain or shine. We would cancel some activities in severe weather conditions, for example if there was heavy snow or ice, or gale force winds.
Yes, for all activities, apart from Bike Hire – but please call us to check availability before you set off for the centre.
No, you’ll wear a buoyancy aid (just in case you fall into the water). You will get splashed quite a lot though (which adds to the fun!)
