This workshop is design for people looking to become a Raft Guide. The main focuser of the course is to build core skills and knowledge to set you up for success in your guiding career.
Physical Skills- Rafting techniques, crew training and management, emergency and rescue techniques.
Theoretical and Practical Knowledge - Equipment (types and usage), safety and emergency procedures, river hydrology, leadership and signals.

Training: Training: 3 days (1st day will be 9:00-17:00. 2nd/3rd day times may vary).

Training: £150 per person. Price includes mentoring between training and assessment.

All IRF awards are valid for 3 years when supported with a valid first aid certificate.
The five-day workshop is suitable for those looking to become a white water raft guide or those looking to take the next step of IRF qualification. This course also includes the world recognised rescue 3 WRT-PRO safety award.
During the course we will cover all areas of guiding with the possibility of an IRF assessment depending on your level and logbook experience.
The cost includes all rescue 3 certification fees, but does not include IRF certification fee of USD$40.
