Palm and Pyranha Park Jam 2026 at CIWW

This years tour stopped once again here in Cardiff International White Water in the heart of Cardiff Bay. Park Jam was born to bring the community together, bring pro athletes to the white water parks and inspire everyone to adventure and push their limits.

The day is just as much about bringing the community together, making new friends all through the means of kayaking. These paddlers above visited for the day from Birmingham University Canoe Club and had the best day together as a team as well as meeting many more of the local community to Cardiff.

Having professional kayakers at CIWW isn't too uncommon, South Wales has an amazing community of kayakers and theirs a lot of mentorship throughout the culture of white water kayaking to help people progress. But on days like Park Jam the pros have all the time to help other people out, people more about how white water works, how your body movements effect the kayak and build confidence to tackle the rapids. 

Park Jam days are special, thanks to the support from kayaking brands Palm Equipment and Pyranha Kayaks. Not only do they organise bringing their pro team to kayak, they also bring them to do inspirational talks, prize giveaways and posters for your bedroom walls as a momento from an epic day out on the water. Prizes go to people who have challenged themselves, learnt new tricks or helped others out throughout the day.
